My rubber (eraser) collection
I've always had a lot of sympathy for inanimate objects - which makes it difficult to get rid of or use stuff, especially things that look like animals. Hence a box of unused rubbers that I have been saving for no other reason than a sadness at the thought of hurting objects that can only feel pain in my imagination. So here we are. Quite a few of these I actually also won as prizes at school - and so there is also probably an element of self-worth held up through academic achievement... I have digitised them here for fear of losing them, and having easier access to the nostalgia - I might also do the same for my other little 'collections' of objects that are just things I don't have the heart to get rid of.
